What window cleaning actually involves
What it is
A regular, scheduled exterior window clean using a reach-and-pole system — frames, sills and glass done every visit, no ladders leant against your windowsills.
Who it's for
Homeowners who want their windows kept clean without having to remember to book them, and commercial premises that need reliable, presentable frontage.
When you need it
Every 4–5 weeks on rotation. That's the sweet spot for keeping glass genuinely clean without paying for cleans you don't need.
Why do it properly
One-off window cleans look great for a fortnight. Regular scheduled cleaning is what keeps your property looking sharp all year and stops mineral build-up etching into the glass over time.
What happens if you leave it
Every job we quote for is easier — and cheaper — than the one that follows it. Here's what tends to happen when this gets ignored.
Skipped cleans let mineral build-up etch the glass
Rainwater carries minerals that dry onto glass and, over time, actually bond to the surface. Once that happens, no amount of cleaning fully restores it. Regular rotation is the only real prevention.
Unreliable window cleaners cost you more, not less
The classic complaint: 'my last window cleaner just stopped turning up.' You end up paying more for one-offs than you would have paid for a proper rotation.
Ladder-based cleaning damages windowsills and planting
Leant ladders scratch frames, crush planting, and put a lot of weight on soft ground. A reach-and-pole system from the ground avoids all three.
Our process
The same repeatable system on every job — so you know exactly what you're paying for and exactly what you're getting.

The detail most companies skip
Reach-and-pole, and why it matters
An extending pole with a soft brush lets us reach frames, sills and glass from the ground — no ladders leant against your windowsills or planted in the borders. Safer for you, safer for the property, and no marks left behind.
Why a 4–5 week rotation is the sweet spot
Any longer and glass starts to accumulate mineral spotting that's harder to remove and can eventually etch. Any shorter and you're paying for cleans that don't move the needle. Four to five weeks is where the cost/benefit lives.
Commercial window cleaning
For shops, offices, cafés and commercial premises we can do same-cycle rotation or bespoke frequencies. Quoted separately from the domestic round; RAMS available.
One-off cleans
We do take on one-off cleans for pre-sale property tidy-ups and holiday-let turnarounds, but the strong recommendation is always to join the rotation — you get a better result at a lower per-visit price.
Frequently asked questions
How much does window cleaning cost?+
Domestic round prices depend on property size and access, but standard 3-bed semis usually fall between £15 and £25 per visit on the 4–5 week rotation. Confirmed with a fixed price when you join.
How often do you come?+
Every 4–5 weeks on rotation. You'll know roughly when we're due each cycle.
Do you clean frames and sills?+
Yes — frames and sills are done every visit as part of the standard price, not an add-on.
Do I need to be home?+
No. Access from the outside is all we need. We'll message when we've been, before we go looking for payment.
What happens if I need to skip a visit?+
No problem — tell us and we'll skip that round. We'll pick you up next cycle without penalties.
Can I get a one-off clean instead of joining the round?+
Yes, but one-offs are priced higher because we're going out of route for you. If you're inside the round's area, joining the rotation almost always works out better value.
Do you cover Cardiff, Swansea and Bridgend?+
Yes — the round runs across Port Talbot, Swansea, Bridgend, Neath, Cardiff, Porthcawl, Maesteg and the Vale. Some outer postcodes fill up faster than others, so it's worth asking early.
Do you do commercial windows?+
Yes — shops, cafés, offices and other commercial premises. Frequency and pricing quoted per site.
